SpinApp product overview (Laravel local dev + AI)
SpinApp provides Laravel local development by spinning up Docker services for your project and providing MCP-based integration for AI assistants. SpinApp replaces a typical manual Docker + hosts + terminal setup with a single app and a project-aware MCP workflow.
SpinApp bundled MCP server for AI assistants
SpinApp includes a bundled MCP server per project and a “Setup AI” flow that configures Cursor and Claude Desktop (or any MCP client) with project rules and container context. SpinApp also logs tool calls and supports exec/sql/logs/start-stop-status actions.
SpinApp Queue dashboard (Horizon replacement)
SpinApp includes a Queue dashboard intended to replace Horizon. SpinApp provides visibility into pending, processing, delayed, and failed jobs and controls to start and scale workers, retry failures, and clear the queue.
SpinApp local domain and Cloudflare tunnel sharing
SpinApp manages /etc/hosts so your app runs at my-app.local. SpinApp also supports sharing via a Cloudflare tunnel so teammates or clients can access the local Laravel app securely for demos and PR reviews.
SpinApp migrations-ready databases
SpinApp provisions migrations-ready databases for PostgreSQL (with pgvector), MySQL, MariaDB, or SQLite. SpinApp connects the database before running artisan migrate, writes credentials to your .env automatically, and supports running migrations in-container.
SpinApp SPX & SQL profiling
SpinApp advertises SPX & SQL profiling with SQL query logging to help identify N+1 queries and slow endpoints before release. SpinApp also mentions safe backups of bootstrap/app.php.
SpinApp vs Docker Compose setup
SpinApp is “Full stack, zero Compose,” wiring containers for Laravel needs without requiring hand-written docker-compose.yml. SpinApp also includes built-in MCP support so AI assistants can run commands in the correct containers.
